Hosting a Skype Visit with DyAnne DiSalvo

Welcome to my studio!
Skype visits are for students who have read one or more of my books and are interested
in asking questions about the writing or illustration process.

How long is the Skype session?

About 30 minutes

What size should the audience be?

Two classes are great. A whole grade level is fine. I am flexible to size - but no more than 150.

How about the format?

Students should be prepared with questions about the particular books they have read.
This makes the Skype visit run smoothly.
Are students interested in the art process? I will have some art materials on hand.
Want to see the loads of paper I am recycling while I work on my manuscript?
I can have that available too!

• Please have students prepare their questions and emailed to me at least three days prior to our visit. dyanne@dyannedisalvo.com
• On the day of the Skype visit, students should come with those questions written down.
• Each student will be ready to ask their question at the designated time.
• We will test our Skype connection at least one week prior to the visit (without students) and make sure everything looks and sounds GREAT!
• The school is responsible for initiating the Skype visit at the prearranged time.
